By , March 9, 2026

Sometimes, life takes us full circle, not to remind us of who we once were, but to show us who we are becoming.

For former TV host Willis Raburu, a visit to Chemelil in Kisumu County on Sunday, March 8, 2026, was one of those moments.

In a heartfelt statement shared on his Instagram account on Monday, March 9, 2026, Raburu said that Chemelil, where part of his journey began as a student, continues to hold deep meaning for him.

He added that today, it remains a place that nurtures some of his dreams, with land and roots that keep him grounded and connected to his beginnings.

“Sometimes God takes you back to the places where your story began, not to remind you who you were, but to show you who you are becoming,” Raburu disclosed.

Reflecting on his visit, Raburu quoted 1 Samuel 7:12 and explained that moments like these serve as a reminder that every journey must start with humility before God, gratitude for the path travelled, and deep respect for the communities that shaped us.
