Pritty Vishy details account with severe malaria after visiting Busia

Sharing her experience on Instagram on Friday, February 6, 2026, she described the ordeal as exhausting and painful.
Pritty revealed that the nights following her visit were particularly tough. She battled intense headaches, body aches, and high fevers, leaving her drained and worried. Her mother stepped in to provide support, and she has been taking medication to recover.
Even after the worst of the illness, Pritty explained that she continues to experience excessive sweating, which she described as overwhelming and uncomfortable. She also expressed concerns about returning to work, fearing the lingering effects of malaria.
“I’m even better now on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night were my longest nights, plus the headache ayayayaya nikaa nilikuwa nafata Rao banae thank God my mum came through for me and some bodyaches and I’m on meds too…. Malaria wewe so now it’s only the sweat. Mtu anaeza dhani nimetoka zoezi ama kukimbizwa,” she shared.
Adding;
“Mkiniona busia tenaaa jua walibeba dede Ama nimeenda kazi juu I fear malaria ya busia walai Juu tell me why Saa Saba za usiku kitanda inaloa na sweat yangu adi natoroka.”
Pritty Vishy’s illness comes a few days after she revealed that she and her friend Rebecca Akinyi fell out again.
“Just to clear the air, I am no longer friends with, close to, or in contact with Rebecca Akinyi,” she stated.
