In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Friday, December 12, 2025, the youthful legislator said he was told by several Kenyans in Uganda that he carries himself with humility and looks even better in person.

This comes months after Salasya made similar remarks about an encounter in Mombasa, where he said women expressed that he was more attractive in real life compared to his photos.

The MP, who has openly joked about his search for a soulmate, shared the experience on April 19, 2025, saying that several women in the coastal city were surprised by his appearance and felt that cameras did not capture him well.

Love life

This also comes months after he asked any woman who believes she has a child with him to present the child by the following week.

“Any woman who thinks and believes she has my child should bring that child to me by Wednesday next week.”

His love life has often drawn public attention, with past attempts to woo celebrities like Huddah Monroe and Azziad Nasenya ending in rejection. He also sparked buzz after expressing interest in creator Cera Imani.

Salasya has defended his online flirtations, saying they are just for fun, noting: “Iyo ni kiki na mbwembwe. It is good to always have fun. And it’s good to appreciate what God has created for us.”

He says his busy schedule limits his ability to date seriously: “Unaweza kunitamani lakini kunipata ndo shida… I am too busy.”

He told men in his constituency to marry but considers himself exempt due to his workload, adding he might marry three women in future because “wanawake ni wengi kushinda wanaume.”

He described his ideal partner as ambitious and comfortable with rural life, and made controversial remarks about dating virgins.

“When I realise she is a virgin, I will allow her to go have another man to break her virginity and come back to me…”
