Oga Obinna shares advice to men facing love dilemmas
By Cynthia Lodite, December 31, 2025Comedian Oga Obinna has shared advice for men navigating love, urging them to prioritise partners who genuinely love them.
In a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, he addressed men who might be torn between two women, offering a clear guideline on making the right choice in romantic situations.
“If you have two women that like you or you like them and you don’t know who to choose, always choose the one that loves you,” he said.
Oga Obinna explained that when faced with two potential partners, whether you like them or they like you, men should always pick the woman who truly loves them.

He emphasised that choosing someone solely based on personal attraction, without considering mutual feelings, can lead to unnecessary heartbreak and complications.
“Do not choose the one that you love over the one that loves you,” he warned.
He went on to describe the scenario many men encounter: being interested in two women and unsure of what to do next. Even if nothing has officially happened with either, the mind starts comparing notes, evaluating who is better in this or that aspect.

“Nothing has really happened, but just looking at them, you’re comparing notes, you’re like, ‘I like this one, and I like this one, what do I do?’” He said men often overthink, focusing on what they like rather than who is already giving them love, care, and attention.
Affection and investment in love
Oga Obinna stressed that the choice should be guided by the woman who is invested in you, who shows affection, loyalty, and consistent interest.
He warned against letting emotions like infatuation or fleeting attraction override this principle, emphasising that love is more than what you feel—it’s about what is returned to you as well.
“Always pick the one who loves you. Don’t ever make the mistake of picking the one you love over the one that loves you,” he reiterated.
He concluded by saying that this is something he had thought about carefully and felt the need to share, hoping men would pause, reflect, and make choices that respect both themselves and the people who genuinely care for them.
“Just something I’ve thought about, and I said, let me just post it, okay? Thank me later,” he added.
