Off the market: Julio Supercharge opens up about his love life
By Valerian Khakayi, December 22, 2025Visually impaired digital content creator and advocate Julius Mbura, widely known as Julio Supercharge, has finally opened up about his romantic life, sharing details for the first time.
Speaking during a candid interview with K24 Digital, Julio revealed that he is currently dating someone he describes as supportive, grounded, and mature.
He added that he is happy in his relationship, noting that his family has been loving and supportive, which has given him a strong sense of belonging.
“This is the first time I’m going public about it: I’m dating. I have an amazing partner who is supportive, grounded, and mature. I’m very happy in my relationship. My family is also loving and supportive, which gives me a sense of belonging,” Julio revealed.

Romantic advances
As a public figure, Julio admitted that he frequently receives attention and romantic advances from fans.
“Advances come daily, some direct, some persuasive, some borderline stalking. I get DMs, comments, calls, even gifts and proposals,” he explained.
Despite the constant attention, Julio maintains a careful balance.
“I handle it respectfully and maintain boundaries. I keep communication friendly but clear that I’m dating. I never dismiss people harshly; I respect their feelings,” Julio added.
The visually impaired advocate further emphasised the importance of protecting his privacy and peace while still valuing fans as supporters.
“At the same time, I set limits to protect my privacy and peace. Fans are my supporters, and I treat them with respect, even when balancing attention with
boundaries,” he added.

Losing slight
Julio went on to reveal that he was not born blind.
But at just 10 years old, his life changed when his vision faded, turning what should have been a childhood full of dreams and play into painful experiences of stigma and rejection from some people around him.
“After losing my sight the first time, my outlook became very dark. I thought that was the end of my life. At only 10 years old, I already had so many dreams, shaped by the people I saw around me and what I consumed in media and literature,” Julio narrated.
Julio, who is a trained lawyer, had initially regained some of his sight but lost it completely three weeks before his bar exams.
