By William Muthama, January 24, 2026Social media personality Njambi Fever has opened up about the emotional rollercoaster of her first serious relationship at the age of 19, revealing how it left a lasting impact on her heart.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, December 24, 2026, Njambi described the relationship as so crazy that she was completely consumed, head over heels for her then-boyfriend. Despite her deep feelings, the relationship ended, leaving her heartbroken and struggling to cope.
“I broke up with him, but I couldn’t deal with it. Like, I couldn’t even breathe,” she admitted, highlighting how overwhelming the breakup was.
Crazy nature of love
Njambi reflected on the unpredictable and consuming nature of love. “Not even… ‘Love’ is such a crazy thing, to be honest,” she wrote.

She revealed how heartbreak repeatedly tested her resolve: each time she got hurt, she would swear she’d never love again, yet her heart would always open up within months.
“Every time I got heartbroken, I’d always swear I’d never love again, but then I’d fall in love again in the next few months,” she shared.
She also reflected on how repeated heartbreak helped her grow emotionally. “Honestly, right now I’m thanking God often. When you get hurt so many times, you kinda grow thick skin,” Njambi said.

She highlighted the contrast between what her mind knew and what her heart desired: “My mind: I’ve learned my lesson. My heart: one last heart lesson… Trying won’t hurt.”
Njambi recalled the challenges of navigating her first serious relationship at a young age. “At 19, I had my first ever serious boyfriend. This relationship was so crazy; I was completely gone,” she said.
She admitted that she struggled to deal with the breakup, showing just how all-consuming her first love had been.
