Blogger Njambi Fever has admitted that she may have been neglecting her spiritual life after a late-night experience left her shaken and searching for answers.

She shared that the moment happened unexpectedly and forced her to reflect on her inner state. She explained that the incident made her feel overwhelmed and unsure of what she had been carrying in a post on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

“I couldn’t sleep juzi. I went to bed so early, like by 10 p.m I was in bed & then by 2 a.m I got up. Couldn’t sleep at all,” Njambi Fever said.

She explained that she tried to go back to sleep but could not, even after checking on her baby and walking around the house. She said she went to the kitchen for water and returned to bed, but sleep still did not come.

Njambi Fever said the moment pushed her into prayer, something she admitted she had not done in a while. She explained that the experience felt intense and emotional, as she struggled to understand what she was feeling. She added that she could not find the right words during the prayer.

The moment that changed her perspective

She explained that the prayer became emotional as she felt like she was carrying something heavy inside her. She said she closed her eyes, felt her heart racing, and cried silently while asking God to reveal what was happening. She added that she still does not fully understand the experience.

“I felt as if I was carrying something so heavy. Words weren’t coming out of my mouth, but I just kept my eyes closed,” she said.

Njambi Fever said the moment made her believe that spiritual life is just as important as physical and mental health.

“I truly believe there’s a spiritual kingdom somewhere that we need to take care of the same way we care for our bodies physically,” she said.

She explained that on other nights, she would scroll on social media or watch something until she fell asleep. However, she said that this night felt out of her control and different from what she was used to. She added that the experience led her to seek spiritual understanding.

“Yoooh, I feel like I’ve neglected my spiritual self. That needed to happen. Wueh! Lakini nili panic,” she said.
