Never again! Lilian Ng’ang’a speaks out on frustrating doctor visit
By Ascah Mwango, April 30, 2026Former Machakos County First Lady Lilian Ng’ang’a has opened up about a frustrating encounter with a medical specialist, shedding light on the experiences many patients quietly endure.
In a statement shared via her Instagram account on Thursday, April 30, 2026, Lilian recounted how she had been referred to a new specialist, hoping for professional care and clear answers.
Instead, what she got left her anything but impressed. According to her, the doctor appeared unusually indifferent, offering little reassurance or urgency.
“I was referred to a new specialist who was remarkably nonchalant. Worst! Had to wait for my results for weeks! :(Never again!” Lilian Ng’ang’a shared.

This comes just weeks after she spoke out about the rising popularity of therapy.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account on Thursday, April 2, 2026, she questioned whether therapy is becoming more of a trend rather than something people truly need.
“Therapy. Has it become fashionable to have a therapist, or do we all indeed need therapy? Is it replacing accountability and other proven ways of healing? Share your thoughts,” she wrote.
While she made it clear that she supports mental health and personal well-being, she expressed concern about how therapy is being adopted in everyday life. “Now, I’m all for mental health wellness and for each to do what suits them best. But are we taking therapy too casually?” she added.
She also raised concerns that people are overlooking other ways to handle life’s challenges. “What about exploring other ways of dealing with the normal lows of life? Has it become the in thing? The fashionable thing? Share your thoughts,” she said.
