Mwalimu Rachel jokes about finding a partner in South Africa after church sermon

Media personality Mwalimu Rachel, who is currently in South Africa, has joked about finding a partner in the country after a church sermon that coincided with the news that she would be jetting out of Kenya.

In a video posted on her Facebook account on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the radio presenter shared how a sermon at her church and news of her travel aligned, making her see them as a signal that she would find her man in South Africa.

She recounted that she got the email on Monday, and the following Sunday, the sermon in her church was on Ruth and Boaz.

Amid laughter, Rachel explained that this coincidence saw her take everything as a sign that she would find her man in South Africa.

“It was on a Monday when I got the email, I believe, and on Sunday when I was in church, the sermon was on Ruth and Boaz. And I took it as a sign that I’m going to find my man in South Africa, maybe not,” she stated.

Embracing possibilities in Mzansi

Without ruling out the possibility of finding her man in South Africa, Rachel assured her followers that sometimes stars align, and it might just happen.

She added that should she fail to return to Nairobi, she would be in safe hands while asking for all well-wishes in finding her “Boaz” in the vineyards of the region.

“I am just here to reassure you that sometimes that starts just to align, and I believe there is more that I am going to experience while I am here. And I am open to any possibility. If I fail to come back to Nairobi, Kenya, don’t worry; I am in safe hands. I might find my Boaz amongst the vineyards,” she remarked.

Experience in South Africa

She summed up her belief with a brief but loaded caption which accompanied the video while also seeking the input of her audience, writing:

“Sometimes, the stars just align! I believe God is in the detail… Do you believe this, or is it just a coincidence? ”

Rachel hailed the trip as another first for her, expressing her excitement at what lay ahead after landing in South Africa on March 22, 2026.

“What took you to South Africa? Well… you’re about to learn! This is a trip of firsts for me, so you can imagine how excited I am. My outfits were carefully selected to show that,” she wrote.
