Murugi Munyi buys new Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe

In an Instagram post on Monday, January 26, 2026, Murugi could not hide her joy as she celebrated the luxury purchase in her signature confident style
“Baddie got a Benz. Now she’s a baddie in a Benz… Everything about this car feels like me. The me I am right now!” she wrote.
According to the content creator, the car represents more than just a luxury purchase; it symbolises honouring her personal transformation.
“I love that I am able to honor my changing seasons in a way that feels right for me,” she wrote.
Selling old car
This comes a few weeks after she announced that she is selling her Land Rover Discovery, marking the end of a two-year journey with the luxury SUV.
In an Instagram post on Friday, January 9, 2026, Murugi stated that the decision to sell was motivated by her desire to try something new.
She expressed affection for the car, fondly named Shaba, noting that it has served her well and hoping it will find a new owner who will appreciate it just as much.
“I’m selling my baby. After two years with her, I want to try something new, so I’m letting go. She’s served me well, and I’d love to see my precious Shaba go to a loving home,” she shared.
Murugi, who recently opened up about how she met her husband, also listed the vehicle’s specifications, revealing that it is a 2015 Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE with a Terrain Response system, seven seats, a panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon sound system, electric memory seats, a a multi-function steering wheel, and height-adjustable air suspension.
Safety features include ABS with EBD, traction and stability control, and hill descent and hill start assist. The SUV has clocked 89,000 kilometres.
