Despite rejecting conventional marriage, Lydia emphasised that she does believe in long-term commitment. She said she envisions having a lifetime partner—but without legal paperwork or cohabitation.

Nitakuja kupendwa na mtu, but there’s just a way I will do it. I will definitely have a lifetime partner, but ile official ya makaratasi, kuishi pamoja—hapana. We date, but we live separately,” she stated.

Lydia also revealed that compatibility would be key in any future relationship, saying her ideal partner must share her values, including believing in no marriage, no children, exclusivity, and mutual respect.

“I have to align with someone who believes in no kids, no marriage, and someone who is exclusive and has that respect that this is my partner,” she said.

This comes after she admitted receiving Ksh1 million from her ex-boyfriend to rekindle their relationship.
