Koku Lwanga reveals childbirth affected her eyesight

Koku Lwanga has revealed that pregnancy and childbirth affected her eyesight, saying she is currently struggling to see clearly.

On Sunday, April 5, 2026, she shared her experience, explaining that the changes have made daily life more difficult, especially without her glasses.

While at an event, she said she recently forgot her prescription glasses, which made the situation worse. Koku explained that although she may appear calm, she is dealing with vision challenges.

“I’m so mad I forgot my prescription glasses because I may look calm, but I’m struggling to see,” Koku Lwanga said.

She linked the issue to her pregnancy journey and medical experience. She explained that the changes did not happen suddenly but developed over time.

“Pregnancy, childbirth and Pitocin went with my vision, and it’s worse at night,” she said.

Changes she faced after childbirth

Koku Lwanga explained that the effects on her eyesight have been more noticeable at night. She said the situation has forced her to adjust and cope with the changes as they come.

She added that despite the challenges, she is trying to remain positive. Koku said she is choosing to move forward and manage the situation as best as she can.

“The great lesson of my thirties. Was a painful one but very necessary,” Koku Lwanga said.

“May you love yourself more than you love the idea of someone else choosing you,” she said.
