Bishop Likavo’s passing and burial
His death was described as a major loss to the church fraternity, with IVC leaders remembering him as a visionary spiritual father who built a strong ministry anchored on faith, service, and leadership.
A memorial service was held at the church in Eldoret on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, where scriptures were read and tributes shared in honour of his life and ministry.

During the service, Bishop Likavo was remembered as a devoted shepherd whose leadership helped establish churches and nurture many believers across the region.
He was later laid to rest in a burial ceremony that drew congregants, church leaders, and family members who gathered to give him a final farewell, marking the end of a significant chapter in the church’s history.
