Veteran musician William Kamore, widely known as Kaymo Thitima, has spoken out following an incident involving prankster Vindee, urging him to reconsider his content creation style after reportedly sustaining injuries during a prank.

Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday night, December 23, 2025, Kaymo made it clear that his message was not personal, noting that he does not know Vindee in person.

However, he expressed concern over the growing trend of extreme prank content that prioritises shock value and virality over safety.

“Someone tell this guy to change his style of content creation. I don’t know him in person,” Kymo wrote.

Prank backfires

This comes after Vindee became a victim of his own antics when a street prank went horribly wrong, leaving him with a lost tooth.

In a video shared on his Instagram on Monday, December 22, 2025, two individuals are seen throwing punches at Vindee, beating him until he fell to the ground while he pleaded for his phone.

At one point, Vindee can be heard lamenting, “Nipee simu yangu,” as his shirt was partially unbuttoned and the scuffle continued.

Vindee, known for his “Ntakushanda” pranks, a phrase meaning “I will beat you”, often roams public spaces confronting strangers, demanding their phones, and warning that he will beat them if they refuse. The stunt, however, turned against him this time.

“Another bad day in the office. 2025 December is not yet done with me, God Siku Zombo,” he captioned.

He later updated his followers, noting the extent of his injuries, jokingly comparing himself to influencer Huddah after losing a second tooth.

Meno imeenda, meno ya pili imeenda. Saa hii mimi nafanana na Huddah,” he said.

He also revealed that his colleague’s phone was damaged during the altercation, adding another layer of frustration to the encounter. Vindee explained, “Hii simu ya ingosi imepasuliwa,” highlighting the unintended consequences of his prank.

Despite the injuries, Vindee retained his humorous tone, reminding his fans why his content often walks the line between daring and dangerous.
