“Dear friends, if there’s something that we must stop, it’s trolling someone’s parents here online. On Monday, I saw a post by my sister Charity Waruinu Celeb requesting adults to stop trolling her mum just because of her dental issues,” he stated.

Turning trolls into blessings

Amid the trolls, Muraya decided to turn the opportunity into a blessing and teamed up with others to intervene.

He revealed that, along with businesswoman Dama wa Spares, they organised for Waruinu’s mum to be attended to at a local facility.

“What many people didn’t know is that, when I realised there were some negative comments during the event day, I requested my friend and boss Damaris Wa Dama Spares Original to support that mum with a healthy smile and she had agreed, he added.

He revealed that the journey to a healthy smile started today, and very soon, the singer’s mum will be able to smile very well.

Trolls spoil mum’s joyous celebration

The gospel singer launched her latest song on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in a star-studded event that was graced by a host of Gikuyu celebrities.

Bishop Kiengei, Mary Lincon, Dama wa Spares and Karangu Muraya were among those in attendance as the singer launched her song dubbed Ngai wa Kiriko.

Her mother, who graced the event, beamed with pride as she joined Waruinu on the stage to celebrate her accomplishments.

The event that was hugely successful made waves across social media as a host of celebrities praised the singer for her resilience as well as her loyalty and genuine support for others through the years.

Trolls, however, spoiled what would have been a parent’s befitting celebration of her daughter’s achievement by posting snide comments.
