‘Huyo dame alikuwa anakuplay’ – Diana Bahati gives Morgan relationship advice

The rapper appreciated the open conversation with her son, revealing that Morgan now has a girlfriend as she guided him through the challenges that he had encountered in his relationship.
“Huyo dame alikuwa anakuplay? (Was she cheating on you?” Diana asked in a video posted on her social media accounts on Monday, March 16, 2026, with Morgan confirming that the lady whom she referred to as Wakarima was doing so.
The teenager lacked words to express how he felt, explaining that he did not understand how the lady in question came to do so.
“Hadi sielewi, mimi nashangaa (I really don’t understand, I am even surprised),” a visibly confused Morgan stated as he shared his relationship challenges with his mother.
Diana: Hata watototo wadodo wanachezwa
In a statement which accompanied the video, Diana revealed that Morgan’s girlfriend studies at a neighbouring national school.
She remarked that the challenges that adults go through in their relationships have since trickled down to minors.

I love the open conversations I get to have with my son @morgan_bahati as he is navigating teenage and choices in general,” Diana said.
She explained that she has adopted an approach in which she listens intentionally to the teenager without judging and helping him navigate the challenges that come his way, rather than leaving him to figure it out himself.
“I’m intentional about listening to him without judging, so he doesn’t have to figure it out by himself in these crazy times that we live in. I was in for a good ride. The stories were a roller coaster. Some conversations are uncomfortable to have, but they must be heard,” Diana said.
Experience raising Morgan
The content creator has been sharing her experience as a mother and recently penned an emotional message reflecting on her experience raising Morgan.
Diana recounted how Morgan came into her life at a time when she did not know how to handle the title of a mother.
“I know I Will Never Lack because He is the Reason. Where would my unending Blessings come from if it were not you, my son? …My Morgan, thank you for allowing me to be called your Mother even when I didn’t know how to run that title. May God keep you, Favour you and Elevate you all the days of your life,” she stated.
