Gospel minister Lady Bee opens up on past struggles with alcohol, says salvation changed her life
By Steve Ireri, April 26, 2026Gospel minister Lady Bee has opened up about her past struggles with alcohol and nightlife and shared a deeply emotional testimony in which she reflected on how she believes faith transformed her life and brought her out of what she described as a dark season.
In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook on Sunday April 26, 2026, Lady Bee said she came across images that reminded her of her past and felt compelled to speak to people who may feel too lost to be found.
She noted that her intention was to encourage those going through difficult moments not to lose hope, insisting that transformation is possible regardless of one’s past.
“Auwiiiiii . Hapa nilikua maji yaani hata sioni… I just saw these pictures and I said, “Let me share this with someone who thinks they’re too lost to be found,” she wrote.

She reflected on her earlier life, saying there was a time she was heavily involved in alcohol consumption and clubbing, a period she now looks back on with regret and reflection.
She said that at the time she was distant from faith and unaware of what she now believes is the power of salvation.
Lady Bee emphasised her belief in the Christian message of redemption, referencing biblical teachings and stating that she believes Jesus has the power to deliver people from any form of spiritual or personal struggle.
“If Jesus went to hell and took the keys, He can surely come right where you are and take away whatever spirit is tormenting you. It doesn’t matter the situation, He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we may ask or think,” she wrote.
She encouraged those feeling trapped by life challenges to turn to faith, saying she believes salvation offers a fresh start.
She further expressed emotional reflection over her journey, stating that she sometimes wishes she had discovered her faith earlier.
“Beloved, salvation is the only way. Sometimes I cry wishing I knew this earlier… but then I remember God uses even the most impossible situations to reveal His mercy and His love,” she wrote.
However, she added that she believes even her past experiences were used for a greater purpose, helping her understand what she now describes as God’s mercy and love.
“If He saved me, I tell you come to Him! He is the only One who doesn’t judge you based on your past, a place where you can truly be yourself,” Lady Bee added.
Quoting scripture from 2 Corinthians 5:17, she reminded her followers that anyone in Christ becomes a “new creation,” with the old life passing away and a new beginning emerging.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Ona leo mtumishi aiiiii… God is so merciful! Ama namna gani? ,” she wrote.
