From ‘Megarider’ to ‘Sinzia’: Nameless to perform full catalogue at Silver Jubilee concert

Kenyan music royalty is preparing for a “Silver Jubilee” like no other.
David Mathenge, better known to millions of fans as Nameless, has officially announced a massive solo concert to celebrate his 25-year reign at the top of the East African music industry.
Titled Nameless@25, the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the historic Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi.
Taking to social media on Wednesday, April 22, the ‘Coming Home’ singer expressed his excitement and a bit of humour regarding his long-standing career and the loyal fans who have been there since the beginning.
“It’s Nameless, Ndutaaaaaah and Esir! In conjunction with OGOPA! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ Weuh! Millennials mtanionesha maneno! Guys I see you buying the tickets! Appreciate the love!🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Early Birds ticket offer ending soon!” Nameless wrote, referencing his long history with the legendary Ogopa Deejays label and his late friend and collaborator, E-Sir.
The concert serves as a chronological journey through a career that began in 1999 with the breakout hit Megarider.
Fans can expect a “large chunk” of a catalogue that includes timeless anthems such as ‘Sinzia’, ‘Ninanoki’, ‘Salari’, ‘Boomba Train’ among others.
Nameless is said to be undergoing rigorous rehearsals to ensure the show is a “performance of a lifetime.”
He has specifically called upon Millennials and Gen X fans—those who grew up during his rise to fame—to “make a plan” to sing along to the lyrics that defined a generation.

A lasting legacy
Since bursting onto the scene as a student at the University of Nairobi, Nameless has remained one of the most consistent and drama-free figures in African music.
Alongside his wife, fellow singer Wahu Kagwi, he has navigated the industry’s evolution from cassettes to digital streaming.
The August concert marks a rare solo headline appearance of this scale for the artiste.
With VIP tickets strictly limited and the early bird window closing, the “Silver Jubilee” is already shaping up to be the most significant nostalgic musical event of the 2026 calendar.
