Daily routine

The former radio host further revealed how her daily routine changed, listing the key elements that have reshaped her habits.

Kalekye revealed that she fuels her workouts with yoghurt, berries, and chia seeds, enjoys high-protein brunches that keep her full, and supplements with protein shakes when needed.

She added that she practises portion control even when eating out, joined a fitness community to step out of her comfort zone, and completed her first 5K walk.

“What’s changed? Pre-workout fuel (yoghurt + berries + chia), high-protein brunches that keep me full, supplementing with protein shakes when needed, and learning portion control, even when eating out,” she revealed.

“Joining a fitness community and stepping out of my comfort zone and completing my first 5K walk.”

In addition, Kalekye revealed that the biggest shift for her was moving from trying to lose weight to focusing on building a healthy lifestyle she could sustain.

“The biggest shift? I don’t feel like I’m “trying to lose weight” anymore. I feel like I’m building a healthy lifestyle I can sustain,” Kalekye said.

Professional support

Additionally, Kalekye pointed out that the health professionals also provided structured, supportive, and realistic guidance throughout her journey.

“Thank you to the doctors, nurses, nutritionist and physio team at @evolve_wellhealthcare.ke for making this journey structured, supportive and realistic. Having the right medical and wellness guidance makes all the difference,” she added.

“This is accountability.
This is consistency.
This is sustainable weight loss. Cheers to growth!”
