Gospel singer Evelyn Wanjiru has joined friends, family, and fans in celebrating the joyous arrival of Joyce Omondi and Waihiga Mwaura’s first child.

Sharing her excitement on social media on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Evelyn expressed how moved she was by the couple’s testimony.

“My heart is full reading your testimony! Eeish, this one got my faith again,” she wrote, adding that she was overwhelmed with emotion as she typed.

Evelyne described the newborn as “a living reminder that God is faithful and intentional,” citing 1 Samuel 1:27: “For this child we prayed, and the Lord has answered.”

She encouraged couples still waiting for children to remain hopeful, declaring that 2025 would mark “the end of shame and crying” and urging them to trust that God is writing their story as well.

“As one who has seen God do it too, I rejoice deeply with you. May your family forever be a canvas of grace, joy, and answered prayers. This is God, and He has done it beautifully. What a wonderful way to end the year.”

Evelyn also added a playful note about the blessings for the little one, joking, “Mama Mshindi analeta box ya toys this kind God oooo. He is the God of thee.”
