Kenyan-born content creator and chess champion Elsa Majimbo has shared her views on relationships and gender dynamics, saying she treats men exactly how they treat women.

In a statement shared on her X account on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the LA-based content creator said, “I treat men how men treat women.”

This comes just days after Majimbo shared advice with her fans on how to balance love and career.

On her X account on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Majimbo encouraged young people to prioritise their professional growth while keeping their personal relationships flexible.

“Have multiple boyfriends and let your career be your soulmate,” Majimbo stated.

In November 2025, she highlighted the importance of choosing the right partner, saying that who you marry can significantly affect your happiness. In a post on November 11, 2025, she wrote:

“The person you marry determines your misery or happiness,” Majimbo said.

Majimbo has also confirmed that she intends to remain child-free.

Majimbo’s love life

Elsa’s past relationships have often been in the public eye. In 2022, she introduced a Caucasian boyfriend to her fans, sharing photos and videos that showed their affection. She praised the joy and love he brought into her life, highlighting the small, thoughtful gestures he made for her.

“To my darling love…thank you for bringing me so much happiness, love, joy. Thank you for showing me what love looks like,” Elsa captioned one post. She added, “Thank you for doing my hair and playing chess with me and buying me things (my favourite). I love you so.” One video showed the young man, with a neatly trimmed beard, helping Elsa style her hair in their apartment.

In 2024, however, Elsa announced her breakup with DJ Hakeem. She explained that trust issues had led to the split, following an incident at a Miami conference where a technician suggested micing her using her underwear.

“I flew to Miami because I was speaking at a panel conference. The first day I rested, the second day I was to speak, it came time to have my mic put up. I had a strapless dress, so we had to find a solution,” she recalled.

Feeling unsupported when her boyfriend blamed her instead of standing by her, Elsa decided to end the relationship permanently. Since then, she has chosen to keep her love life private.
