Dr Ofweneke warns men against building dream homes without marrying

By , January 27, 2026

Media personality and stand-up comedian Sande Bush, widely known as Dr Ofweneke, has advised men to think twice before building their dream homes without first getting married.

Speaking in a candid message on Monday, January 26, 2026, Dr Ofwenweke warned that many men make costly mistakes by investing heavily in property while neglecting to build a stable family foundation.

According to him, men should only build their dream home after getting married.

“Men, do not build your dream home without a woman; marry first before you build your dream house,” Ofweneke warned.

Investing in women

In addition, the media personality also cautioned men against spending money on women who are not willing to invest back into the relationship.

According to him, relationships should be based on mutual effort and support, not one-sided financial sacrifice.

“Do not invest in women who are not ready to invest in you, men, do not invest in a woman that is not ready to invest in you, men do not spend your money on a woman who is not investing anything in you,” he said.

He encouraged men to seek partners who are emotionally, financially and mentally committed, noting that real relationships grow when both parties are willing to contribute.

“If a woman do not have money to spend on you, also do not have money to spend on herself,” Ofweneke stated.

Women’s pranks

This comes days after he warned men against dismissing their partners’ words as mere jokes or pranks, emphasising that women are intelligent, thoughtful, and highly calculative.

He stressed that if a woman shows contempt or makes a pointed statement, it is likely something she has thought about carefully.

Wanaume, mpenzi wako asikuonyeshe madharau kisha aseme ni prank ama joke, anamaanisha na ashafikiria hicho kitu kwa muda. Women never say anything by mistake or as a joke, lazima ukuwe careful akiongea. anything a woman says when angry or as a joke,” Ofweneke said.

He added that women do not say things by mistake or coincidence.

“Women are very intelligent, thoughtful and very calculative, and women have come to know that the only to destroy a man is not through anything but through words,” he added.

“When a woman threatens you, in her mind, she has already actualised it.”

Ofweneke also highlighted the power of a woman’s words in relationships, urging men to be careful and keen.

“You must learn to study the language of a woman, women do not say things by jokes or by coincidence or by mistake. You must be very careful and very keen,” Ofweneke stated.
