Dora Obwaka shares qualities she is looking for in a husband
Multitalented artiste, entrepreneur, and the owner of the fashion Jesus Girl closet, Dora Obwaka, has opened up about the qualities she is looking for in a life partner.
Speaking at the ManTalk KE podcast on Friday, December 19, 2025, Dora said that the most important quality she desires in a husband is a strong love for God.

She also emphasised the importance of physical attraction, noting that it is often overlooked or downplayed in conversations about relationships.
Dora explained that while character and heart matter, attraction is equally important because partners share daily life together.
“You are waking up next to each other every day; you need to like what you see,” she said.
In addition, Dora said she is looking for someone who is walking in purpose. a man who understands his calling, direction, and goals in life.
This comes a few weeks after she opened up about her past battle with alcohol addiction and how she managed to turn her life around.
Speaking during an interview with local media on Thursday, November 27, 2025, Obwaka revealed that her struggle began at a young age.
She described the challenges of breaking free from a habit that had become a core part of her identity.
“I started drinking at the age of 17, and that morphed into a full-blown addiction that lasted about seven years,” Obwaka revealed.
“Coming out of that space had been very challenging; it looked like trying to get back to that space, the cycle of ‘I will be sober for a few days or weeks or months’, and because this had become a core part of who I was, like a never-ending cycle.”
Obwaka also highlighted the physical impact of her long-term drinking.
“I did not know alcohol was a little poison, scientifically, for your body, and because I have been doing it for such a long time, it had advanced consequences on my health, the weight loss, but the moment I got sober, I was eating healthy, and I added weight,” she said.
