A statement posted on Chuck Norris’ Instagram account by his family on Friday, March 20, 2026, confirmed his death.
According to the statement, the actor died on Thursday, March 19, at the age of 86, marking the passing of an icon who graced the screens and touched many lives across the world.
The American actor who starred in films like “The Delta Force” and “Missing in Action” breathed his last while surrounded by family and was at peace.
“It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” the family announced.
The family remembered the deceased as a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather and brother who was a pillar in the family.
