‘What is Fuliza?’ Harriet Njenga leaves fans surprised during online interaction

Content creator Harriet Njenga left her fans surprised after revealing that she does not know what Fuliza is.

During a TikTok Live interaction with her fans, Njenga said Fuliza came up while she was having a conversation with her followers. The discussion made her realise that she had never used the service and did not understand how it works.

“So, I was live on TikTok, and there, the only conversation I was having with my fans, and then they mentioned Fuliza. And it just realised that I don’t have, like, I’ve never used Fuliza in my life. I don’t know what is Fuliza,” she said.

Fans give her different explanations

Njenga said her followers started giving her different explanations about what she needed to do to access or use Fuliza.

According to the content creator, some fans made it sound like Fuliza was an application that required her to log in, while others suggested that she needed to do something involving a photograph or certificate.

The different explanations left her even more curious about the service, prompting her to ask her followers to help her understand it.

Njenga asks whether she should try Fuliza

Njenga also wondered whether Fuliza could allow her to access a loan and repay it later.

She said some of her friends told her that people who carry out big transactions could qualify for a loan through the service.

“Since you usually do if you do, like, big transaction, definitely unaweza pewa loan,” she recalled being told.

Njenga then wondered whether she could take a loan through Fuliza and pay it back later.

Au naweza chukua loan and then now I would pay later,” she said.

She turns to fans for answers

Still unsure about how the service works, Njenga directly asked her followers to explain Fuliza before deciding whether to try it.

“But then guys, reality, what is, okay, I want to know what is Fuliza. Should I go ahead and download the app or do whatever I’m supposed to do, do the Fuliza thing?” she asked.

Her admission sparked surprise among her followers, particularly because Fuliza is a familiar financial service to many Kenyans.
