Attendees are also seen singing gospel praise songs, creating a lively and spiritual mood throughout the celebration as they honour and support the actress during this milestone.

The video has since drawn attention online, with fans and followers sending congratulatory messages and celebrating with her as she enters a new chapter in her personal life.
Wema on motherhood
This special moment for Wema comes months after the actress opened up about her emotional journey, revealing that she has come to terms with the fact that she will never have a child.
Speaking during an interview with Sam Misago TV on January 19, 2025, the actress expressed that she has made peace with her situation, accepting it as part of God’s plan for her life.
She admitted that the desire to become a mother has faded over time, especially after hitting 35.

“Sijabarikiwa kupata mtoto na kiukweli kwa wakati huu hata mkiniambia mnanitakia heri, nimeshafika 35. Sitegemee kwamba nitashika mimba. My road to wanting a baby, hata ile hamu, imefika point nimegive up,” she said.
Although she has accepted her reality, Wema admitted that it still pains her to know she may never have her own biological child.
“Of course, it hurts. It’s not that it doesn’t. Sometimes I wish I could have my own baby, someone I could carry, love, and treat nicely beyond the normal way,” Wema stated.
During the interview, the actress also expressed her deep love for children and her longing to experience the joy of motherhood firsthand, but she emphasised that she has come to terms with her challenges and trusts God’s decisions.

“I tried for so long, but God decided I didn’t deserve it. You cannot go against God’s will. Nothing happens by accident in this world. You never know why God didn’t give me my own child,” she added.
When asked about how this affects her view of marriage, Wema made it clear that any man who wishes to marry her must accept her as she is, including her fertility struggles.
“My husband must understand that this woman has a problem. You cannot claim to love someone and not accept their flaws. I have accepted my situation. If a man chooses to marry me, he must accept me as I am,” Wema said.
