Trisha Khalid opens up on year-long pain after miscarriage

The actress shared the painful experience while being interviewed by Alex Mwakideu on Saturday, August 1, 2026, where she spoke about losing her pregnancy at four months.
Trisha said the miscarriage happened during what she described as a traumatic period for both her and her partner. She explained that despite the time that has passed, she has not been able to move past the pain of losing her pregnancy.
“Last year was a traumatic year for me and my partner. I went through a miscarriage …four months,” Trisha Khalid said.
She explained that people often believe that enough time will make painful experiences easier, but said her own experience has been different. Trisha said she continues to live with the pain even though more than a year has passed since the miscarriage.
“When I tell you time heals, it is a lie. It has been a year and months, and I am still living in that pain,” Trisha Khalid said.
Trisha speaks about the fear of trying again
Trisha also spoke about the pressure that can come from people who do not know what someone has gone through. She said it can be difficult when people judge her for not conceiving while being unaware of the experience that she has faced.
“It is easy, especially when you get people judging you for not conceiving, but they don’t know your story,” Trisha Khalid said.
The actress said the miscarriage has also left her with fear about going through the same experience again. She explained that the thought of another loss remains something she continues to worry about.
“I still have that fear, that maybe it will happen again,” Trisha Khalid said.
During the interview, Mwakideu responded to Trisha as she spoke about her fear of experiencing another miscarriage. He reassured her that he believed it would not happen again and encouraged her not to expect another loss.
