Tanasha Donna says she has never met Madollar Mapesa amid loan claims
By William Muthama, July 31, 2026Singer and entrepreneur Tanasha Donna has denied claims by businessman Madollar Mapesa that she owes him millions of shillings, insisting she has never met him or had any financial dealings with him.
Her response came after Madollar Mapesa shared a post on social media on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, claiming that Tanasha had borrowed money from him and failed to repay it. He said the debt had grown from Ksh3.1 million to Kshh4.8 million due to accrued interest.
In the posts, Madollar Mapesa also claimed that he had previously helped Tanasha when she was facing financial challenges and said he had evidence to support his claims.
Tanasha denies claims
Responding through her Instagram story on Friday, July 31, 2026, Tanasha dismissed the claims as false and challenged Madollar Mapesa to provide evidence.
“I normally don’t respond to fabricated stories online, but this has gone far enough,” she wrote.
Tanasha said she had never met the businessman, borrowed money from him or entered into any financial arrangement with him.
“I have NEVER met this individual in my life. I do not know him, I have never borrowed money from him, and I have never had any financial dealings with him whatsoever,” she said.
Challenges him to produce evidence
The singer also addressed Madollar Mapesa’s claims that he had “receipts” to support his claims, urging him to make them public.
“He keeps referring to ‘receipts.’ Please, POST THEM. Show the transaction, the agreement, the communication, the meeting – anything that proves I personally borrowed money from you. You cannot, because it never happened,” she said.
Tanasha further said people had previously attempted to use her name and public image to manufacture stories for attention, adding that she had ignored similar incidents in the past.
Threatens legal action
The mother of one said she would no longer remain silent over what she described as false claims, revealing that she had begun pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal and law-enforcement channels.
“This matter is now being documented and escalated through the appropriate legal and law-enforcement channels,” she stated.
She concluded by reiterating that she has no connection with Madollar Mapesa.
“If you are going to publicly accuse me of owing you money, then publicly provide the evidence. Otherwise, stop using my name and image to spread false information.
“I have never met you. I do not know you. I do not owe you.”
