Sisi ni tutam: FBI dancer Ezra takes Ruto’s re-election push to the next level

Ezra, who has been openly campaigning for Ruto, shared a message declaring that the movement was not turning back and was headed for “Singapore.”
“Sisi ni tutam na haturudi nyuma, tunaelekea Singapore,” Ezra said on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
While the statement mentions Singapore, Ezra appeared to be using the country as a metaphor rather than announcing an actual trip. The phrase suggests the movement is looking ahead and aiming for a particular destination or goal.
Vijana Wa Ruto launch
His latest message comes months after he launched the ‘Vijana Wa Ruto’ campaign, an initiative aimed at mobilising young people to support Ruto’s bid for another term in office.
In April 2026, Ezra made headlines after unveiling the campaign through a video shared on social media. The footage showed young people dressed in yellow, associated with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), as they waved yellow flags while riding in cars.
Ezra’s campaign came at a time when young Kenyans were also mobilising around the ‘Niko Kadi’ movement, which encouraged youth to register as voters ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The dancer’s decision to openly campaign for Ruto marked a shift from his entertainment career into political mobilisation, particularly among young people.
Since then, Ezra has continued using his social media platforms to share messages supporting the president and his re-election bid.
His latest “Tutam Singapore” message adds an entertainment touch to the political conversation, with the short phrase likely to attract attention among his followers.
Ezra, however, did not provide further details about what exactly he meant by “Singapore” or explain what the next phase of the movement would entail.
For now, the FBI dancer’s latest slogan has left his followers with another catchy phrase to discuss as he continues his public campaign for Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.
