Rose Muhando’s all-grown son nostalgic as he remembers dancing in mum’s music videos

In a light-hearted TikTok video on Thursday June 2, 2026, the young man revealed that he recently came across some of Muhando’s older songs and was surprised to discover that he had featured prominently in one of the music videos.
According to him, he had completely forgotten about the experience until he watched the song again and saw himself on screen.
“Yo guys, I just came across my mum’s old songs and remembered that I used to star in her music video. I used to be a vixen,” he said jokingly.
He went on to explain that seeing the footage brought back memories he did not even know he had forgotten.
The singer’s son said he was shocked to realise that he had appeared in the video and was impressed by the dance moves he displayed at the time.
“Like I had even forgotten about that song and I never even remembered that I was there, but now I have seen that old song and remembered. I used to dance so well and I used to hit it so well,” he added.
Muhando faces robbery
In a statement shared on her social media platforms on Tuesday March 31, 2026, Muhando revealed that the stolen items included cash and all her identification documents, among them her national ID and travel passport, leaving her stranded and appealing for assistance from the public.
“Thieves broke into my place and stole a bag that had money and all my identification documents, including my passport,” she wrote.
She urged anyone who might come across documents bearing her name to kindly hand them over to the nearest police station, expressing hope that they could be recovered.
“Please, for anyone who might find documents with my name, I kindly ask you to help return them to any nearby police station. Thank you very much,’ she added.
Alongside her appeal, the singer shared a police report confirming that she had officially reported the incident to authorities.
According to the document issued by the Tanzania Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Muhando recorded the loss on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
“United Republic of Tanzania, Ministry of Home Affairs, Tanzania Police Force. Report of Lost Property, Reference: PHQ/DOD/DOD/7287/2026. This is to confirm that:
ROSE ATHUMANI MUHANDO, reported at the police station on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, that the property listed below has been lost,” the document read in part.
The report, referenced as PHQ/DOD/DOD/7287/2026, indicates that the missing items included her passport, identified with specific registration details, which she stated had been stolen.
It further notes that the report serves as an official record of the complaint but does not necessarily confirm the validity of the claims made, as per standard police procedure.
