Mzungu Mjanjez reveals how her baby daddy inspired her Arsenal content
By William Muthama, August 22, 2026Content creator Amy D Brown, popularly known as Mzungu Mjanjez, has revealed how her baby daddy played a key role in turning her into an Arsenal content creator.
Speaking in an interview with Milele FM radio host Jacquey Nyaminde on Saturday, August 22, 2026, Mjanjez said she began supporting the North London club long before she started creating football content, crediting her baby daddy for introducing her to the team during their relationship.
She said she was initially not particularly interested in watching football despite her partner being a devoted Arsenal fan.
“He was the person who got me supporting Arsenal kitambo sana, but I was never really that fond of watching games,” she said.
12-year Arsenal journey
Mjanjez explained that being in a relationship with an Arsenal diehard for about 12 years gradually made the club part of her life.
She recalled being expected to watch Arsenal matches regardless of where or when the team was playing.

“Whatever time it was or wherever they were playing, lazima I watch,” she said.
Over time, the repeated exposure to Arsenal matches made her more invested in the club, even though she initially lacked the excitement and football knowledge associated with a devoted supporter.
Her transition from fan to content creator came later after she started interacting with other football personalities.
She said Milele FM radio presenter Santos Ordinary encouraged her to try making football content, telling her she did not need expensive equipment or deep football knowledge to begin.
The advice changed the direction of her online presence.
Fans back Arsenal
Mjanjez said Kenyans quickly embraced her as a white Kenyan woman speaking about Arsenal in Kiswahili.
She recalled how fans began identifying with her as “our Mzungu” and encouraging her to continue creating football content.
That support gave her the confidence to pursue Arsenal content more seriously while also improving her understanding of the game.

Her growing audience eventually opened doors beyond social media.
Mjanjez recalled receiving a message from an Arsenal fan on Facebook who booked her a ticket to Uganda so she could meet members of AFTV, despite the two having never met before.
The experience helped expand her connections within the Arsenal community and created more opportunities for both creators.
Content becomes career
Mjanjez said the journey was not immediately profitable.
For the first four to five months of creating content, she struggled to secure gigs because she was still building her name and audience.
Her fortunes began changing after working more closely with Bigfish, who encouraged her to focus on developing her own brand instead of relying mainly on collaborations.
She said brands eventually began approaching her after noticing her personality, energy and growing association with Arsenal.
Today, she has several brands she works with while continuing to receive inquiries for potential partnerships.
