In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, August 9, 2026, Yunge expressed his gratitude for Charlene, the daughter of President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel. His message was deeply personal, with the businessman turning to his faith as he celebrated the woman he is set to marry.
“My beloved ❤️ ✨ Thank You, Heavenly Father, for blessing me with Your precious daughter,” Yunge stated.

Yunge went on to describe Charlene as a gift from God, making it clear that his feelings for her go beyond the glamour and excitement surrounding their engagement celebrations.
“God gave me His best when He gave me you,” he said.
