Mosiria promises urgent action after claims of physical abuse of child in Nakuru Pipeline

In a statement shared via his X account on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Mosiria said he received a disturbing message from a member of the public describing alleged abuse of a child in the area.
“Hello Mosiria, Uyu mtoto ni jirani yangu hapa Nakuru Pipeline na uwa anafungiwa ivi kila siku Baba yake akienda kazi kwanzia asubuhi mpaka saa mbili usiku, mtoto huwa analia Sana lakini tutafanya nini jameni. nilipiga picha Jana na uwa anapigwa na babake baba akileta mwanamke uwaga mtoto anagongwa kwelikweli. Mama ya huyu mtoto hatujawai muona anaishi na babake Tu.”
The message, which has been widely shared online, has sparked concern among Kenyans, with many calling for urgent intervention to protect the child from further harm.
“Someone sent me this in my inbox and so many people have tagged me on this, so I will engage Nakuru children’s officer for immediate action to rescue the child. Mbona mtu afanyie mtoto hivi jameni?”
Mosiria confirmed that he will involve the Nakuru children’s office to ensure immediate action is taken and the child is rescued if the allegations are verified.
Over time, Mosiria has become known for his active presence on social media, where he frequently responds to public complaints and distress calls from residents. His office has often been involved in coordinating responses to issues raised by citizens, especially those touching on public welfare, safety, and order within the city.
