Mosiria promises urgent action after claims of physical abuse of child in Nakuru Pipeline

Nairobi County Chief Officer for Customer Engagement and Citizen Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has promised to take urgent action after disturbing claims of child abuse reported in Nakuru Pipeline.

In a statement shared via his X account on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Mosiria said he received a disturbing message from a member of the public describing alleged abuse of a child in the area.

“Hello Mosiria, Uyu mtoto ni jirani yangu hapa Nakuru Pipeline na uwa anafungiwa ivi kila siku Baba yake akienda kazi kwanzia asubuhi mpaka saa mbili usiku, mtoto huwa analia Sana lakini tutafanya nini jameni. nilipiga picha Jana na uwa anapigwa na babake baba akileta mwanamke uwaga mtoto anagongwa kwelikweli. Mama ya huyu mtoto hatujawai muona anaishi na babake Tu.”

The message, which has been widely shared online, has sparked concern among Kenyans, with many calling for urgent intervention to protect the child from further harm.

“Someone sent me this in my inbox and so many people have tagged me on this, so I will engage Nakuru children’s officer for immediate action to rescue the child. Mbona mtu afanyie mtoto hivi jameni?”

Mosiria confirmed that he will involve the Nakuru children’s office to ensure immediate action is taken and the child is rescued if the allegations are verified.
