Manager Castro reveals Stoopid Boy was a father of 3, mum was not around when he died

Kipawa manager Dr Castro has revealed that late Gotta City rapper Stoopid Boy was a father of three, with one of his children present at their family home after the musician’s death.

Speaking in an interview shared online on Friday, August 28, 2026, Castro said the rapper’s mother was also away from home when he died, a detail he believes made the circumstances surrounding his death even more painful for those who arrived at the house.

“And another thing that makes it worse is that the mum was not around when he died,” Castro said.

He explained that Stoopid Boy’s mother had travelled and had apparently been away from home for several days before the rapper’s death.

“She had travelled a bit. I guess she has been away since Saturday,” he said.

Castro said the absence of the rapper’s mother, coupled with the loneliness surrounding him at the time, made the situation particularly distressing.

“And so I think that loneliness and such were bad,” he said.

He also revealed another painful detail he encountered inside the home, saying a photograph of Stoopid Boy’s brother, who had died only months earlier, was still hanging inside the house.

“But another more distressing thing there was the photo of his brother, who had just died months ago, hanging there in the house,” Castro said.

“It was a bad image,” he added.

Castro further revealed that Stoopid Boy, whose real name was Edgar, was a father of three children and said one of them was moving around the house when he arrived after the rapper’s death.

“What most people should also know is that Stoopid, whose real name was Edgar, he also had kids,” he said.

He recalled seeing one of the children walking around the home while adults and other residents gathered following the rapper’s death.

“And so when I was called after he died, I saw one of his kids moving around there,” Castro said.

He said the child appeared to be trying to understand why so many people had suddenly gathered at their home.

“He had many kids and I saw one strolling around there and looking on,” he said.

“And the kids were trying to figure it out, wondering why many people were in their home,” Castro added.

According to Castro, Stoopid Boy had three children, whom he identified as Pipi, Dior and another child.

“He had three kids, Pipi and Dior and another one,” he said.

Castro described the sight of the children amid the gathering mourners as particularly painful, given their young age and the circumstances surrounding their father’s death.

“It was a sad image,” he said.

Brother’s death

Castro also revealed that Stoopid Boy had been dealing with another devastating family loss before his own death, with his brother dying about two months earlier.

He described the late brother as an important figure within the family and among the siblings, saying he had played a fatherly role in their lives.

“Stoopid Boy’s brother died a couple of months ago, two months ago. And that brother who died was the one who was calling them together. He was like their father,” Castro added.

According to Castro, the late brother had also played a significant role in Stoopid Boy’s rehabilitation journey and was among those who encouraged him to seek help.

“He was the one who even convinced Stoopid to enter rehab,” Castro said.
