Leave me alone! Georgina Njenga breaks silence after viral video of her talking to herself

The video, which quickly made its rounds on social media, showed Georgina spending hours alone outside the mall and appearing to talk to herself. The footage sparked a wave of reactions online, with some social media users expressing concern while others rushed to speculate about what could have been happening.
On Thursday, September 3, 2026, Georgina responded to the attention through her Instagram Stories, saying there were personal spiritual struggles that people could not understand from simply watching a video.
“Leave me alone fr there are some spiritual battles you’ll never understand in this world,” Georgina stated.
Starting over
This comes weeks after Njenga reflected on the changes she has made in her life over the past year, saying starting over was one of the best decisions she made.
On July 26, 2026, the Kenyan content creator shared how the experience allowed her to make changes, meet new people and form new friendships. She also opened up about dealing with character assassination during the period.
“One year ago, believe me, starting over is the best decision I made: change, write new friendships, and meet new people…character assasination hurts but don’t forget the one God knows not a perfect one but not the one the world has created for you,” Georgina Njenga said.
Georgina said the past year taught her important lessons about life and helped her understand herself better. She urged people to remember who they are rather than allowing the opinions and claims of others to define them.
She also spoke about her faith, encouraging people to continue trusting God even when going through difficult times. Georgina said difficult seasons can prepare people for better days and future testimonies.
“And at this point, remember the devil is working hand in hand with people close to you to humble you, for he knows you carry a future full of testimony and hope. When you fully see the light again, I hope this generation realises that praising and thanking him even as we continue living life is the least we can do,” Georgina Njenga said.
Georgina further encouraged people to remain grateful to God despite the challenges they may face. She said she hopes people will hold on to hope and faith as they continue with their lives.
The content creator also revealed that her relationship with God was not something that started recently, although she had rarely spoken about it publicly. She explained that she chose to keep her faith private because of her concerns about some of the expectations linked to religion.
“I always had a relationship with him but barely publicly shared because I hated that religion has standards they also struggle to meet,” Georgina Njenga said.
She compared religious communities to other places where people meet, saying they can have both good and bad individuals. Georgina said the actions of people should not become a reason for others to stop praising God.
“But think of it in the club: you also meet good and bad people, so bad leaders aren’t an excuse not to praise him,” Georgina Njenga said.
Georgina maintained that people should separate their relationship with God from the actions of other people. She said encountering bad individuals, including leaders, should not prevent someone from continuing to trust God or express their faith.
