By Steve Ireri, June 12, 2026American streamer and content creator Kai Cenat has announced a major change to the Streamer University application process, revealing that aspiring creators will now have an opportunity to apply in person for the 2026 programme.
In an Instagram post on Friday, June 12, 2026, Cenat invited prospective applicants to attend physical application sessions and demonstrate why they deserve a place in the highly competitive creator development initiative.
According to the announcement, the in-person applications will begin in New York City on June 12, before moving to Los Angeles on June 14 and Atlanta on June 16. All sessions are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
Cenat encouraged applicants to appear in person and make their case directly, describing the events as an opportunity for creators to show why they should be selected for Streamer University 2026.

In addition, attendees have been instructed to comply with a clear-bag policy. Those planning to carry personal belongings will only be allowed to use transparent concert-style bags, while backpacks, purses and other non-clear bags will not be permitted at the venues.

Streamer University has rapidly grown into one of the most sought-after opportunities in the creator economy since its launch by Cenat in May 2025.
The inaugural edition was held at the University of Akron in Ohio and attracted millions of applications from aspiring creators across the globe.
Despite the overwhelming interest, only about 120 to 150 creators were selected for the first cohort, making admission into the programme highly competitive and a major achievement for successful applicants.
