Juliani reveals one thing that matters to him more than numbers in music

Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the musician reflected on his journey, saying everyone has different measures of success when it comes to life.
For Juliani, the opportunity to express himself through music is a privilege, regardless of how many people are listening to his work.
“Najua kila mtu ana metrics zake when it comes to maisha,” Juliani wrote.
“Kwangu naona ni privilege kubwa sana to share my gifts, ideas, thoughts and some crazy time belief.“
The musician explained that even if his music reached only one person, he would still put the same energy and commitment into his work.
“Even if kungekua na mtu mmoja tu bado, I would’ve done it with the same vigour,” he added.
Juliani on his creative process
Juliani also reflected on the different stages involved in creating his music, from writing lyrics and composing melodies to eventually turning the ideas into songs.
He highlighted the role played by producers who help transform his words into beats and sounds that complement his ideas.
“Writing lyrics, composing melodies and sharing as a song. Having producers who help me carry those words in uniquely made beats and vibes,” he said.
Beyond the music itself, Juliani said he also values the journey he has taken with his band and how they have developed their own way of presenting their music on stage.
He also celebrated the energy and enthusiasm that continues to push him to create and perform.
“Having a band that, over time, we’ve curved our own way of presenting on stage. The energy, the enthusiasm to continue doing it and loving it,” Juliani stated.
Audience connection
While acknowledging the excitement that comes with getting booked regularly, Juliani said he is particularly grateful for having an audience that connects with his music and the way he performs.
“Getting booked often. Nooooooma sana. And having an audience that resonates with the way I write and perform. Sina la kusema ila WE GIVE THANKS,” he wrote.
For Juliani, the ability to share his creativity and connect with an audience remains a significant part of his musical journey.
