Jose Chameleone thanks Redsan for introducing him to Eastleigh and Kibera
By Valerian Khakayi, August 27, 2026Ugandan music star Jose Chameleone has expressed his gratitude to Kenyan musician Redsan for welcoming him to Kenya and introducing him to some of the country’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
Chameleone shared a heartfelt message to Red San ahead of the latter’s highly anticipated 30th anniversary celebrations, reminiscing about their friendship and the journey that brought them to the moment.
Addressing Redsan as his “brother”, “friend” and “family”, Chameleone recalled how the Kenyan musician welcomed him to the country and introduced him to his extended circle.
The Valu Valu hitmaker went on to thank Red San for introducing him to various parts of Nairobi, including Eastleigh, Dandora, South B, South C, Kibera and Kayole.
“My brother @redsanmusic, friend, family!! Our story is endless! I want to thank you for welcoming me to Kenya and introducing me to your big family!! Eastleigh, Dandora, South B, South C, Kibera, Kayole and many, many more,” Jose Chameleone said.
Chameleone remembers Florida 2000
Beyond the neighbourhoods, Chameleone also reminisced about the Kenyan entertainment scene and the role Red San played in introducing him to the legendary Florida 2000 nightclub.
Florida 2000 was among Nairobi’s well-known entertainment spots and became part of Chameleone’s memories of his time in Kenya.
Chameleone also reflected on how far the two have come, suggesting that the occasion was the realisation of dreams they had shared in the past.
“You introduced me to Florida 2000, the dance floor!!! We dreamt about these days. We are here now,” he added.
The Ugandan star then confirmed that he would be part of Redsan’s highly anticipated anniversary celebrations
“I sign in!!! THIS SATURDAY!!! SHOWTIME,” he said.
