“Hakuna mwanaume stingy; si eti hana pesa, anaogopa tu kutoa mahali anajua hatapata. They just want to be sure they will get returns for investment. Investments bila returns haiwezi,” Mwakideu said.
Loosely translated, Mwakideu said there is no such thing as a stingy man. Rather, some men are hesitant to spend where they believe their love, generosity or commitment will not be reciprocated.
He likened relationships to investments, saying people naturally want to feel that their emotional and financial efforts are appreciated.
