Gospel singer Sarah K warns fans against fake accounts soliciting money in her name
By Valerian Khakayi, June 15, 2026Veteran gospel singer Sarah Njeri Kiarie has warned her fans about fake social media accounts impersonating her and attempting to solicit money from the public.
In a statement shared on Monday, June 15, 2026, the gospel singer, together with Back to the Root of Worship Ministries, clarified that she does not request money from fans through personal messages, phone calls, or unofficial online platforms.
“We have received reports of fake accounts impersonating Dr Sarah K and asking people for money. Please be informed that Dr Sarah K and Back to the Root of Worship Ministries do not ask for money through personal messages, calls or unofficial platforms,” Sarah K said.
The singer said there have been rising cases of fraudsters creating fake accounts using her name and identity with the aim of deceiving unsuspecting followers.
She urged fans to remain vigilant and only engage with her verified social media pages. Sarah K also shared her official platforms to help the public identify authentic accounts and avoid scams.

The official pages include Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channels under the names Dr Sarah K Music and Worship Moments With Dr Sarah K.

The gospel minister emphasised that any account requesting money while claiming to represent them is fake and should be reported immediately.
Fans have been advised not to send money or share personal information with suspicious accounts and to report any impersonators as soon as they are discovered.
Additionally, she appreciated supporters who have continued to report fraudulent activity, urging continued vigilance online.
“Any other account claiming to represent us and asking for money is fake.We deeply appreciate everyone who has reached out to alert us,” she added.
