“I, together with my sisters @valerie_omach_ and @mitch.ngoje, decided to visit the places we called home growing up, and if walls could speak, they still wouldn’t tell enough,” Diana explained.

Diana also visited her former primary school during the emotional tour. She shared memories of the life she lived back then and spoke about how different things are today. She recalled moments when her family struggled to afford basic needs.

School memories and struggles

“Hapa nilisomea my primary school, I never imagined that one day I would come back with a Range Rover,” Diana said.

She explained that she used to spend time at the school with friends during her younger years. Diana also remembered how her family relied on credit to get simple household items from nearby shops. She said life was very difficult at the time.

“I used to sit here, then my first boyfriend used to sit here. Tulikua na kitabu ya deni, tulikua tunachukua maziwa, mkate, sukari,” she said.

Diana said her life today feels very different from what she imagined many years ago. She explained that if someone had told her two decades ago that she would one day speak about her success story, she would not have believed it. Diana added that she now looks back with gratitude.

“All I know is that nothing is permanent. If you told me 20 years ago, I would live to testify to the Lord’s doing in my life… I would laugh out loud,” she said.

“Today, I look back, and all the Glory goes back to Him. May your life become a testimony soon,” Diana added.
