Chief Bernard, a popular Nairobi content creator who claims to be a senior Illuminati boss, has responded after sections of netizens online claimed he could be the real father of singer Stevo Simple Boy’s child, citing what they described as a striking resemblance between the two.

Speaking in an interview shared on TikTok on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Chief Bernard addressed the claims, saying he had seen the discussions spreading online and was angered by suggestions that he could have fathered the child.

The content creator said he first met Stevo’s family recently during the event where the singer and his wife, Brenda, unveiled their baby to the public.

Chief Bernard explained that while he had known Stevo before, he only met Brenda during the child’s face reveal event.

“And I have seen those claims going viral online. And Stevo’s family, I came to know all of them recently during the face reveal event of their child,” he said.

“But Stevo, I had known him before. But his wife, I came to know her just last month during the baby’s face reveal event.”

Chief Bernard said he was aware that some people had been drawing comparisons between his appearance and that of Stevo’s child, noting that the claims had gained considerable traction online.

“And I have heard those claims that I look like the child, and they are trending a lot,” he said.

He, however, dismissed the argument that a resemblance between two people should automatically lead to speculation about an affair or infidelity.

“But you know, it is normal for people to resemble others. But when that happens, it does not instantly mean that someone cheated,” Chief Bernard said.

He went on to issue a direct denial, insisting that he had no relationship with Brenda and was not the child’s father.

“I would like to be clear that I am not the father of Stevo’s child as it is being said,” he stated.

Chief Bernard further stressed that he had never met Brenda before the baby’s face reveal event, making the claims particularly surprising to him.

“Even Brenda, the wife, I have never seen her before. I only saw her during the face reveal event of the baby,” he said.

The content creator said he became angry after some people began pushing the claims, arguing that the speculation could have consequences for Stevo’s marriage.

“And I got so mad to hear some people pushing those claims,” Chief Bernard said.

He pointed out that Stevo is married and has welcomed a child with his wife, urging people to be mindful of the effect their speculation could have on the couple.

“Because you see, Stevo is in marriage and they have been blessed with a child,” he said.

Chief Bernard also revealed that some people had gone as far as sending him short videos through his direct messages in which social media users were discussing the alleged resemblance.

He said some of those sending the videos were specifically drawing attention to the child’s complexion and comparing it with his own.

“And people are even sending me short videos in my DM of people discussing and saying the baby’s colour looks like mine,” he said.

Chief Bernard warned that continuing to push such claims could create unnecessary problems for Stevo and Brenda, particularly because they are a married couple who have just welcomed their child.

“When you push such claims, it could mean you want to break Stevo’s marriage,” he said.
