Andrew Kibe has criticised millennials, calling them “useless” while saying he believes Gen Z gives him hope.

Kibe also described millennials as the hardest-hearted generation he has seen. He made the comments while comparing different generations and the roles they have played in the country.

Kibe said he had a very low opinion of millennials and used strong words to describe the generation. He explained that he believes there is something hopeful about Gen Z, unlike what he sees among millennials. His comments placed the two younger generations side by side.

“Millennials are useless. Hakuna watu useless kama millennials. Gen Z unajua kuna hope,” Andrew Kibe said in a podcast on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Kibe continued by explaining his view of millennials compared with Gen Z. He said millennials stood out to him because of what he described as their hard hearts. He also compared the younger generations with the older generation of boomers.

“But millennials are the hardest heart I have ever seen,” Andrew Kibe said.

Kibe praises boomers

Kibe said he believes boomers played an important role in building the country. He explained that when comparing the different generations, he viewed boomers as the group that did a lot for the country. His comments placed boomers in a different position from the millennials he had criticised.

“Out of all the generations, I think boomers are the ones who built our country,” Andrew Kibe said.

Kibe further praised the work he believes boomers did over the years. He said their contribution stood out when he looked at the different generations. His comments were focused on how he views the roles played by boomers, millennials and Gen Z.

“The boomers did a lot,” Andrew Kibe said.

Kibe’s remarks come shortly after Rozina Mwakideu called for an end to the ongoing disagreements between Gen Z and millennials. Rozina said people should stop fighting over issues they had no control over. She explained that nobody chooses the generation in which they are born.

Rozina made the remarks while addressing other divisions that have continued to create arguments online. She urged members of the two generations to put their differences aside and stop fighting. Her comments came on Monday, August 10, 2026.

“And then…Mi naona tuwache vita kabisa mtandaoni…. Watu wa Gen Z na millennials please, once and for all bury the hatchet…none of you chose when to be born,” Rozina Mwakideu said.

The comments from Kibe have added another view to the ongoing discussion about the differences between generations. While Rozina called for peace between Gen Z and millennials, Kibe shared his own views on the three generations and what he believes each has contributed.
