Amber Ray addresses questions about her quick post-surgery recovery

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, September 10, 2026, Amber explained that her ability to walk shortly after surgery should not be taken to mean that she did not undergo the procedures.
The influencer said she underwent three surgeries as well as dental work, adding that the video she shared showed her first walk after the procedures.
Amber responds to questions about recovery
Amber said she had noticed comments from some people questioning how quickly she appeared to be back on her feet. She explained that although she has been able to move around, she is still taking time to rest and paying attention to how her body feels.
“I’ve seen some people saying, ‘The way Amber is up and about, ni kama hakufanyiwa surgery.’ Mind you, I did THREE surgeries plus my teeth!” she said.
Amber added that the video was taken during her first walk after surgery. She said she currently has enough energy to move around but continues to rest as much as possible.
“This video was actually my very first walk after surgery. The reason I’m able to move around is that I genuinely have the energy, but I’m definitely still resting as much as I can and listening to my body,” she explained.
Amber details her recovery
The influencer also gave an update on her condition, saying she was not experiencing pain and was not taking medication at the time of her post. According to Amber, she was only applying an antibiotic cream as instructed as she continued with her recovery.
“I’m currently not taking any medication, and I’m not in any pain, just applying my antibiotic cream as instructed. My recovery has honestly been so smooth,” she stated.
Amber also mentioned STC30, which she said she started using two weeks before undergoing surgery and has continued using during her recovery.
She attributed part of her recovery experience to the product, while also acknowledging her faith.
“Apart from God, one thing I personally feel has really supported me is STC30. I started using it two weeks before surgery, and I’m still using it now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how my body has been recovering,” Amber said.
Amber’s cosmetic procedures in Turkey
Amber’s update comes as she continues to openly document her cosmetic journey in Turkey. The influencer recently revealed that she was spending nearly Ksh1 million on dental work, saying she was having 21 teeth done at approximately Ksh44,000 each.
She has also shared details of other procedures she planned to undergo, including breast implants and Lipo 360.
After consulting her doctor, Amber said she also agreed to have an additional fat-transfer procedure on her calves. “Go yes… boobs, Lipo 360, and calves,” she stated.
Through her recent updates, Amber has continued to share different stages of her cosmetic journey, including her procedures and the recovery process that has followed.
