Carol Sonnie in tears as boyfriend surprises her on birthday

Speaking in a YouTube Video on Sunday, January 4, 2026, Sonnie described her shock as she walked into a hotel, thinking it was just another outing.
She had been told only to do her makeup and show up, completely unaware that her mother, siblings, daughter, and even online presenter Trudy Kitui had gathered to celebrate with her.
“I was just told to do my makeup and head to the hotel, and when I walked in… I was so surprised to see everyone here. I couldn’t believe how he even got Trudy’s number,” Sonnie shared.
The mother of one was visibly emotional as guests sang “Happy Birthday” and showered her with hugs and blessings. Her daughter, Kheilah Khloe, ran to embrace her, while her mother shared heartfelt words, praising her achievements and expressing joy in seeing her celebrated.
“Feel appreciated, feel celebrated. We love you so much and watch all that you do. Keep being you,” Sonnie’s mother told her, adding that she had always believed in her daughter’s bright future.
The celebration was intimate yet lively, with friends and family taking part in games, sharing laughs, and enjoying a well-prepared dinner. Sonnie’s boyfriend coordinated the entire event, ensuring everyone arrived dressed appropriately and that the surprise was flawless.

Sonnie’s birthday comes just days after she had shared her birthday wish list, which included personal and professional goals such as investing in land, acquiring a Mazda CX-8, the iPhone 17, a money bouquet, travelling abroad, and even expanding her family with a second child.
