Carol Kim did not mention any name or any topic, nor did she share any photo of someone, but her latest Facebook post has left fans speculating amid the Karangu Muraya and Triza Mamake Muraya drama.

Taking to her Facebook account on Monday, January 19, 2026, Carol Kim posted freshly baked pastries and wrote, “Mkuje na Ndubia (tea without sugar).”

The post quickly caught the attention of netizens, with many interpreting it as a cheeky “tea” moment, a slang term often used online to mean gossip or juicy updates.

Carol Kim’s post came just hours after gospel musician Karangu Muraya went online to defend himself against claims that he had abandoned his children.

Carol Kim triggers debate

In his emotional Facebook rant, Karangu claimed he had recently stepped in when the children fell sick, writing, “This was on Wednesday this week, when I received a call from my kids that they were not feeling well.

“I went there and took them to hospital. I spent the entire day with them…na wakaniambia sunday niwakujie…”

He also said he skipped church to spend time with one of the children, adding, “Sikuenda church. Leo na Emmanuel akanipigia simu akaniambia ako ready…nikaenda nika mpick na tukaenda.”

Karangu further insisted he had respected his estranged partner’s wishes, claiming, “Mimi mwenye mnaita fool, mliniambia hamtaki ndoa na niwapatie freedom na nikakumbali sijawahi uliza swali hata moja kuhusu mko wapi, mnafanya nini na mko na nani.”

He went on to allege he even handed over his new house for the sake of the children, saying, “Nikawapatia nyumba yangu mpya yenye nilikua najenga ya kuuza na nikanyamaza kwa heshima ya watoto wangu, lakini naskianga tu ya kwamba nilitupa watoto wangu…”

Karangu added that he still pays household bills and brings shopping but claimed he was once insulted in front of the children, writing, “Kwa hiyo nyumba, mimi huwa nalipa kila bill ya maji, ya stima na mimi huwa naleta shopping, but last time nililipwa nakuitwa ‘kihii’ mbele ya watoto wangu….”

Still, he maintained he would continue supporting them but pleaded for the children to be kept out of the drama, stating, “Mimi nitaendelea kuangalia watoto wangu kadri ya uwezo wangu, but nawaomba kwa heshima hata kama mnanidharau kiasi gani…msiingize watoto wangu kwa hiyo madharau.”

Triza’s cryptic rebuttal

Not long after Karangu’s rant, Triza Mamake Muraya also posted a short message that many fans interpreted as a veiled response.

“There is nothing God cannot do when He wants to save those who trust and worship Him in truth and in spirit. Good morning,” Triza wrote.

Although she did not mention Karangu directly, the timing of her post made it hard for online users to ignore the connection, especially with their issues still being discussed widely.
