Buruklyn Boyz’s Mr Right says fresh diss tracks directed at Toxic Lyrikali are ready for release
By Steve Ireri, May 24, 2026Buruklyn Boyz rapper Mr Right has confirmed that he has multiple new diss tracks ready, all directed at fellow rapper Toxic Lyrikali, which continues to fuel growing anticipation within Kenya’s drill music scene.
Buruklyn Boyz, composed of Ajay and Mr Right, are among the groups credited with popularising UK-style drill music in Nairobi, blending gritty street storytelling with aggressive flows rooted in Buruburu’s urban culture.
Their rise has positioned them as key figures in Kenya’s contemporary rap scene.
Speaking in an interview with TikTok creator Saint Owino on Sunday, May 24, 2026, Mr Right revealed that the diss tracks targeting Toxic Lyrikali are already fully recorded and only awaiting release. He added that the rollout will be gradual, saying he does not intend to bombard fans with too much content at once, despite having several songs already prepared.
“I know my fans are waiting for me to release more and more diss tracks, and I can confirm that I already have several of them ready. The only thing left is the release because the work of writing and recording is already done. I just don’t want to bombard fans with everything at once; I prefer releasing them gradually so people can enjoy them properly,” he shared.

He further suggested that the lyrical back-and-forth with Toxic Lyrikali is far from over, hinting that fans should expect more music as the rivalry unfolds.
“The guy we were beefing with, Toxic Lyrikali, will have to surrender because there is a lot coming,” he added.
Beyond music
Beyond music, Mr Right also opened up about his personal life, revealing that many fans often find it hard to believe he is Muslim despite his identity and background. He noted that this is one of the misconceptions he frequently encounters from the public.
The rapper also shared lesser-known details about his lifestyle, disclosing that he enjoys biking as a hobby and is passionate about drifting cars. He said these activities form part of his off-stage interests away from music.
“Many people don’t know this about me, but I ride bikes as a hobby, and I am also Muslim. I also enjoy drifting cars as part of my lifestyle,” he shared.
Mr Right also addressed perceptions about Buruburu, stating that claims suggesting the area is not part of Nairobi’s Eastlands are incorrect, adding that a simple geographical check would confirm its location.
He also advised young people from the hood, urging them to always do their best and prioritise faith, saying that putting God first is key to opening doors and achieving success in life.
“Some people say Buruburu is not part of Eastlands, but that is not true. Let them take a compass and check where east is. My advice to hood boys is that you should always do your best and put God first because that is how you unlock doors and succeed in life,” Mr Right said.
