Betty Kyalo’s boyfriend Charlie defends Gen Z men’s maturity in relationships

In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, December 27, 2025, he stressed that generalising people based on age or generation ignores individuality and potential.
“People in groups think everyone is the same, but if you look at people individually, you see how unique humanity really is,” he said.
He added that today’s young men can be as responsible, or even more so, than some older generations society once looked up to.
Charlie highlighted that labelling all Gen Z men as immature or reckless is unfair.
He argued that the current generation benefits from easier access to knowledge, resources, and opportunities, which enables them to build careers, financial stability, and personal growth earlier than previous generations.
Responsibility and growth
According to Charlie, age should never be the sole factor when evaluating a person’s readiness for serious relationships.
With focus, intelligence, and a foundation in values passed down from elders, young men today can match or surpass the achievements of older individuals.
He also warned against assuming all young men date solely for pleasure. Charlie noted that some young men are committed, focused on building families, and determined to break generational curses.
This, he said, is a group that women should recognise and appreciate, rather than dismissing them based on stereotypes.
Relationships and self-worth
Charlie encouraged women to carry themselves with respect and dignity, explaining that self-worth plays a critical role in attracting partners of equal character.
“If you attract men with resources, ability, and focus, that reflects your level. You attract what you are,” he said.
He stressed that relationships require alignment in values, ambition, and long-term goals, not just physical attraction.
Reflecting on his own journey, Charlie shared that he has always dreamed of building a stable family. Meeting Betty Kyalo marked a turning point in his life, motivating him to mature financially and emotionally while discovering his purpose.
Before settling, he admitted to mismanaging his finances, but with Betty by his side, he grew into a man capable of providing, protecting, and leading a family.
“Before settling, I fumbled my finances and spent recklessly. Meeting my wife changed everything. I found purpose, responsibility, and a partner who believes in me,” he said.
