Baba Talisha surprises his friend’s mum with shopping, new phone on her 61st birthday

In a video that Baba Talisha shared on his TikTok page on the same day, the heartwarming moment is seen unfolding outside the elderly woman’s home, where they first treated her to a cake-cutting session accompanied by music and dances before unveiling the generous gifts.
Baba Talisha first fed her cake before announcing to her that he had brought a special gift just for her.
He then walked to the boot of his car and retrieved bales of wheat flour and maize flour, together with plenty of other cooking items, leaving the woman shouting with joy and excitement.
A few seconds later, he informed the lady that that was not all and asked his friend to return to the car and retrieve another special gift he had brought, which turned out to be a brand new phone.
“And aside from this shopping, I have one more thing for you. Bring the gift now. Just wait, and you will see what it is,” he said.
His friend then retrieved the phone from the car and handed it to Baba Talisha, who unboxed it and presented it to the elderly woman, leaving her ululating uncontrollably and nearly breaking down in tears.
“I am even surprised. I am shocked,” the woman said as she urged those around her to join her in ululating.
Baba Talisha noted that the handset was the latest model and expressed happiness at being able to gift his friend’s mother on such a special occasion.

While sharing the video, Baba Talisha wrote a heartfelt caption noting that Kanyi, whose mother he had surprised, is a very close friend whom he loves like his own brother.
He stated that Kanyi had remained a loyal friend over the years and that he felt deeply honoured to have joined him in celebrating his mother’s special day.
“This was magical, Kanyi. May God bless you, bro, for being a good friend to me. May your mum live long enough to see you succeed in everything you do. I got my gift for her, and you can also surprise your friend’s family or loved ones this Christmas season,” he wrote.
