Diamond’s brother sends warning to people gossiping about Zuchu after her split from singer
By Steve Ireri, July 25, 2026Diamond Platnumz’s brother Ricardo Momo has sent a warning to people spreading claims about Zuchu’s relationship with the singer’s family following the reported end of her relationship with the WCB Wasafi boss.
Speaking to a local Bongo radio station on Friday July 25, 2026, Momo dismissed claims that Zuchu is no longer on good terms with the family, saying he personally remains in contact with the Tanzanian singer despite the ongoing speculation surrounding her relationship with Diamond.
Speaking about the matter, Ricardo said he could not confirm Zuchu’s relationship with every member of the family but insisted that he personally remains in good terms with her.
“About whether Zuchu is on good terms with Diamond’s family, I can say I do not know. I am talking with Zuchu well and I am Diamond’s family,” Ricardo said.
He went on to caution people against treating everything circulating online as fact, arguing that some of the claims being shared about the singer and Diamond’s family are merely gossip.
Ricardo said his own relationship with Zuchu remained cordial and revealed that they had continued communicating despite the developments surrounding her relationship with Diamond.
“Whatever is circulating online is just gossip. As for myself, I am in very good terms with her and we keep talking,” he said.
Ricardo also disclosed that he had recently visited Zuchu and even shared a meal at her home, using the experience to challenge claims that she had completely fallen out with Diamond’s family following the reported breakup.
“Even a few days ago, I ate at her place,” he added.
Ricardo, however, urged people to be cautious about information they consume and share online, saying individuals often face attempts to damage their reputation through rumours and negative narratives.
He argued that it is impossible for public figures to control everything people say about them on social media, adding that constantly trying to live according to public opinion can make it difficult for anyone to find happiness.
“And you see, when people online want to perpetrate something, you cannot prevent it. They look for ways to taint you,” Ricardo said.
He further warned against allowing online discussions and public opinion to dictate one’s life, saying people who constantly try to satisfy what others say about them risk living unhappy lives.
“If you live according to people and what they say, you will not be happy even once in your whole life,” he added.
